Civics 101 is dedicated to improving the public’s understanding of the Rule of Law and how Supreme Court decisions affect their daily lives. The series focuses on two themes; civil rights and the right to privacy.
These episodes are entertaining summaries of landmark cases with a focus on how their reverberations echo today, featuring judges, historians, political scientists, legal scholars, activists, descendants of parties in the cases, and (in one instance) a named party himself. Each episode page includes transcripts, graphic organizers for note-taking while listening, and paired activities.
